Hello and welcome!

MASS is a nonprofit social Carolina Shag dance club based in Southern Pines, NC. We invite you to come dance with us the first Saturday of each month from 7-10pm at The Lodge at Hyland Golf Club (address 115 Fairway Ave. in Southern Pines). We would love to share our dance floor with you! We feature different Shag DJs each month and occasionally feature a popular Beach Music band.

Membership: $20 for the year and $10 per dance.   Guests: $15

MASS is a nonprofit organization based in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The primary function of the club is to promote activities which are associated with beach music and Carolina Shag. MASS is a social dance club and participates in events/fundraisers for local Moore County charities. The club is a member of the Association of Carolina Shag Clubs (ACSC) and the National FastDance Association. There are approximately 100 members. Guests are welcome and are invited to join.

MASS holds an Annual Fundraiser for charities in Moore County, and also provides donations to other organizations.

The Executive Board of the Moore Area Shag Society meets at 7 pm on the Wednesday following the monthly Social in a location designated by the club president.
